FEP/PFA INCAPSULATED O-RINGS
The FEP encapsulated O-Rings differ thanks to an external coating of the FEP or PFA elastomer.
Incapsulated O-Rings are used to resist chemicals where regular elastomer would be insufficient.
The necessary elasticity is provided by the elastomer ring, the chemical resistance by the seamless FEP or PFA sheath.
Advantages:
Excellent resistance to many liquids and chemicals, except alkaline metallic liquids and some fluorine compounds.
The operating temperature is from -60 °C to +200 °C depending on the O-Ring elastomer.
Low friction, no adhesion or stick-slip effect.
